Flora Dress and Tunic

I was lucky to be chosen as a tester for E & E Patterns to test for this simple but elegant dress.
This is my first time sewing from E & E Patterns and I have to say, the instructions are easy to follow and the patterns are easy to assemble.

Flora Dress and Tunic have three different styles, three sleeves length, fully lined and the best part is there is no closure, so it is a quick sew, it slips over your girl's head and definitely a perfect design for color blocking or showing off multiple fabrics.

The Flora Dress and Tunic comes in size 9 months 12 years old and they use layered pattern pieces so you only print what you need, or if you need to use different sizes like I do, you can go ahead print everything and keep it as a master copy, and trace only the size you need. That way you save the printing paper and ink hahaha...

Guys, priced in Canadian Dollars *cough *cough so you only pay USD6 with the 20% discount!!

My version is View B with 3/4 sleeve length in lightweight cotton fabric that have been sitting in my stash for years! Originally, I bought this fabric to make bags (as you know, I am a bagineer/bag maker, to begin with). But, the fabric is too fragile for a bag and so, it just stayed quietly waiting for some miracle haha...

When I was selected as E & E Patterns tester, I know this fabric is perfect for the design, although I know if I can just teleport myself to Bangkok, I can get much more beautiful fabrics! Yes, most of my fabrics are bought in Bangkok, Thailand.

I love the cuff option on the sleeves and if you are using the larger size, adding an inseam pocket will be practical. I am planning another dress for my youngest girl, Adra and this time I will use some plain corduroy and beautiful bordered linen. Can't wait to finish that one!
